Today is September 6, 2010. Over a month ago God's Book was at the publishers and beginning the journey through production. I received a phone call that changed everything. This publisher has a 75/25 rule and my book did not meet the criteria. After a few days of discussions I realized it was not possible to keep the book the way God told me to put it together and meet their requirements.
To add to the confusion we were leaving for a long trip to Maine to visit my husband’s family [...]

I am appalled that the during World war 2 the USofA and Great Brition committed attacks of terrorism againist Germany. They did this by bombing towns just because they would burn hot and fast killing innocent women and children we are supposed to be better than them and except for the killing of the Jews we were worse. Labor Day: The end of Summer invites us to reflect on the dignity of all human work. A Christian vision of work views it in light of the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. The entirety of our human experience was assumed by Jesus, including our labor, our human work, no matter what form it takes. In the Introit of the Mass the Church sings: [...]

A couple of days ago, I wrote a somewhat rambling piece about Voice of the "Faithful" (VOT"F") Chicagoland's open letter to the Holy Father*.
I focused on one passage in particular, namely the one in which VOT"F"C
attempts to rebut the "metaphor argument" (e.g. the "sexual symbolism"
argument) against ordaining women to the Catholic priesthood**.
However, I had time only to consider the first half of that passage,
which concerns their mistaken view as to the role of a priest. Today,
I'd li [...]

Why Was My Voice So Small?
Lisa's voice on the other end of the line stunned me. It was a strange combination of normalcy and urgency. I had for hours been pacing in my mind, watching others pace around the holding cell, while others re-arranged themselves on the cold hard metal benches. Still others, I could tell, were beginning to withdraw from some substance of influence, changing before my eyes from who they were when they first came into this small grey space of life. E [...]
